Each new video by Factory Floor that surfaces hints that nostalgic sweet spot constantly harped on about by ageing music journalists in that feels like a real 'event'. Partly because of their fearsome live reputation for mind-melting acid rave workouts, each physical release that slips out onto vinyl carries the weight of the moment in time of where the band sit now. 'Fall Back' is a slice of beatific gurgling techno plucked straight from a dark storage vault under a club in Berlin in 1984.

New signings to Warp Records, Mount Kimbie, have announced arange of t-shirts designed by Tyrone Lebon. Taken from the video he directed for their track 'Before I Move Off' below. Kai and Dom have this to say about it;

"Recently we have been using [the video] on stage but slowed down to last for over an hour. Played this way each shot lingers and people have got to see the work in a completely new way. It starts at different points and different images run over different songs each night. In this way it's continued to change form and in some ways is a completely different piece. It's intrinsically linked to a certain time, song and album for us and we have now made some of the images in to a few very limited T-shirt designs which are now available online. We hope you like them and also want to thank Tyrone for his great work."

Animal Collective have made a name for themselves as a band who continuously search out new sonic ideas, so it should come as no surprise that Centipede Hz tore up the template their last record laid down. Gone are the smooth textures are standard arrangements, in comes a world of radio static, fuzz and linear developments. 'Applesauce' is maybe the track on the record that could've been plucked from their last, but it's groove also harks back to the weird rhythmic arrangements of their first few records, and so feels like a primer for the band as a whole.
