Nail The Cross is basically the best variation on the mini festival. Taking place over two days in Dalston's Shacklewell Arms after roaming around various South London venues in various forms.

One way of judging the strength of NTC is simply by looking at the calibre of those who've graced their stages over the years; the XX, Joy Orbison, SBTRKT, These New Puritans, Actress, Hudson Mohawke and Hype Williams all having made appearances. This year's line up is just as strong, with Because favourites Slime, Deptford Goth, Slackk, Eaux and oOoOO all sure to join the long list of musicians we've thoroughly enjoyed at the event.

When the Tate Tanks opened a few months back, this was the event we were really looking forward too. 'Paved With Gold' is the culmination of a 2 year long project by ISYS to document and explore London's Youth Cultures. Working alongside NTS Radio, the result is a modern day 'City Symphony' which traces a day in the life of London, to examine the use of style and culture as tools for identification and belonging among British Youth today, and takes the viewer on a journey through the young heart of the city.

The artists they've got to play pretty much include all of our favourite things coming out of London at the moment, Slime, Vondelpark, My Panda Shall Fly and Dark Sky.

South London's best venue, Corsica Studios, is 10 years old this autumn, and will be celebrating with a series of shows, first up is a dj set from LCD Soundsystem and DFA Records man James Murphy along a raft of talent responsible for producing some of the most interesting, influential and commercially successful electronic music over the past 10 years and it is no exaggeration to state that this is one of the biggest line-ups Corsica has ever hosted.
