Deptford Goth
One mistake commonly made in the writing of love songs is that they are often covered in metaphor; as if the idea of love can't be understood unless it's smothered in something grandiose and wordy, that the emotion can't be done justice if there is no grand conceit.
Deptford Goth's 'Life After Defo' is of a better kind, it has an inscrutable simplicity to it's lyrical character that grabs you in the bit of the belly that controls your emotions.
