London promoters Sexbeat bring their one-day festival, Radfest, now in its 3rd year, to Peckham's premier Warehouse Space, the Bussey Building. A brilliant, maze like 1000 capacity space that in previous lives has variously produced ammunitions and cricket bats, but is now a hive of artists studios, a gig space and drum'n'bass hole that has been the venue for some of the best shows of the past few years. Radfest looks to continue this, with Indie pop legends The Wedding Present, playing a hit parade of early material from the seminal albums George Best and Bizarro. Rounding off the line-up are hardcore punks Trash Talk and Mob Rules, darkwave pin-ups SCUM and lo-fi golden boys Mazes.

It's all taking place on August 21st, and as well as the music there'll be a pop-up record store, zine fair, vegan bbq and a free mixtape. South London is the place be.

Supersonic Festival, now in its eighth year, is pretty much the UK's best for the more interesting, challenging and experimental side of music. Committed to the sort of musical avant-garde that overlaps styles between metal, folk, electronica, noise, etc, it continues to bring the obtuse in a brilliant way.

This year's event is no different, with a line-up featuring; Silver Apples, Nathan Bell, Circle, Electric Wizard, ZU93, Zombi, Lucky Dragons, Skull Defekts and Wolves In The Throne Room.

You'd do well to weep, Mr Gira - this is absolutely the best line-up in living memory and it's heading for Ally Pally in July. The Swans frontman will be raining down aural panic attacks at the I'll Be Your Mirror festival in July, a two-day jaunt curated by ATP and headed up by PJ Harvey and Portishead. Day tickets for the event have already sold out but weekend tickets are still available at £100 a pop here. If that sounds like rather a lot of money, just hark a moment at this:
