It's not often an outfit conjures up the style references of the Adams Family or say Professor Snape. But who knows, maybe Ashley is stacking serious amounts of flower power in his wardrobe and we snapped him on the one day he favours the darker end of the colour palette. And what choice does he have? Wearing black this summer is by far the best option for attracting some warmth when the sun will only grace us with its presence very rarely. On a more serious note, Ashley looks good, and managed to stand out in black, in London, ergo job well done.

I like to go to the beach.

Now hear us right Jordan, but on first glance this get-up looks a bit like the coolest hiker slash elf we've ever seen. We mean that as a compliment of course, anyone who can pull off those two as a style reference gets our vote.

What works really well here is the draping of both the AAA collection top and trousers (which happen to be made by his boyfriend Daniel Mark Fradgley who's a young designer). Jordan is a model agent and stylist which would explain his flare for putting together an outfit.

Jordan: Go see my boyfriend because he still lives in Newcastle and I live in London or going to the cinema and going out with friends.

Do you have a favourite film?

A Spanish film called 'Y Tu Mamá También'. I love that film, so good.

Do you have a favourite band or artist at the moment?

Well when I go clubbing it doesn't matter what kind of music I dance to, as long as my friends are there but at the moment I do like Bon Iver and Chase & Status.

Favourite label?

I love the Topman AAA Collection but my ultimate would have to be Alexander McQueen.

We spotted James during London fashion week helping out his friend and designer Christopher O'Brien who was showing at Fashion East's installation. And like a good and dutiful pal James is wearing O'Brien's creations from head to toe. But he couldn't be a better poster boy for the young label and wears his crinkles and crumpled folds well. You wouldn't guess that actually, rather than this modelling stint, James is in fact a locksmith and a bit of a BMX fan.

James: A BMXer. I'm going to say Chris Doyle because he's not the average BMXer. He doesn't wear your average stuff.

What's your favourite place in the world?
A field back home in Bletchingley, Surrey with all my mates having a BBQ.

Do you enjoy any books, blogs, magazines…?
I'm just a simple guy really, I'm not in the fashion world. This is just helping out a mate really.

Band of Skulls.
