Swiss Me Quick
It used to be that when you needed a new pair of bespoke shoes,
you would visit your cordwainer for the first of several involved
consultations. Now, as with everything else, you can do it from the
App Store as Swiss luxury goods house Bally introduces Scribe
Made-to-order. The service allows you to choose and design every
aspect of your new favourite shoe, from the style to the type of
leather, the colour and the exact fit. (In this social media-driven
world, there's little point in buying new shoes be if you can't
share them with 400 of you closest friends via Facebook and
Twitter.) The shoes will be made at Bally's Swiss atelier and sent
to your door, but Scribe subscribers will have to leave the sofa at
some stage - the final tweaks to your order have to be finalized at
your local store
