Now, as with everything else, you can do it from the App Store as Swiss luxury goods house Bally introduces Scribe Made-to-order. The service allows you to choose and design every aspect of your new favourite shoe, from the style to the type of leather, the colour and the exact fit. (In this social media-driven world, there's little point in buying new shoes be if you can't share them with 400 of you closest friends via Facebook and Twitter.) The shoes will be made at Bally's Swiss atelier and sent to your door, but Scribe subscribers will have to leave the sofa at some stage - the final tweaks to your order have to be finalized at your local store

Since it was founded in 2005 by Ali Hewson with the express purpose of doing high fashion in a more aware way, Edun has worked to aid communities in Africa torn apart by war, famine and disease. This season it introduces an T-shirt programme in partnership with H.E.A.L.S ("Health, Education, Arts, Literacy, Sport") which is based in Gulu in Northern Uganda. H.E.A.L.S is a non-profit organisation that helps those children affected by 25 years of civil war rebuild their country.
