When it comes to men's fashion unless you're one seriously eccentric dresser the easiest way to differentiate yourself from the rest of the skinny jeans, boating shoes and beanie crowd is to add detail and accessorise. Jonny's simple denim shirt sports folky tribal fabric edging the pockets. Round his neck is a simple silver chain with a circular pendant and in his nose is a little silver hoop. It's these little accents that bring his personality to the look.
Jonny, a 23 year old musician, is also tapping in to one of the trends we've seen creeping in for autumn/winter. His Loakes Chelsea boots are a wardrobe staple for getting the Mod look right.
Becuase: Do you play for a band or are you a solo musician?
Jonny: I actually do a bit of both. At the moment I play for solo artist Leah Mason. Her sound is a mix of blues, folk and rock and roll. I am also doing my own thing as well.
What is your music of the moment?
I am listening a lot to the new Booker T Jones album called 'The road from Memphis' and Suite For Ma Dukes orchestra by Miguel Atwood Ferguson.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
Got to be Antonio Forcione, the incredible Italian guitarist who is a big inspiration to me.
What is your favorite film?
Watching Life.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I'd like to have no mass so I could walk through walls and see things I'm not supposed to. Like a ghost!
