What if your shoes could do good? Supermodel and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova teamed up with the new masters of shoe craft Malone Souliers to create beautiful shoes that walk towards a good cause. A capsule collection consists of five different styles inspired by traditional stitching represented in Russian folklore and traditional dress of Eastern Europe, with 50% of the proceeds going to Vodianova’s Naked Heart Foundation.

It’s a rare case in high fashion that a cultural reference benefits from  the commercial piece it inspired. Vodianova’s foundation supports underprivileged and disabled children in Russia so it’s rather fitting that half of the profit from the folkloric collection comes back to its core. The styles are seminally Malone Souliers – flat and heeled mules, laced booties and stiletto pumps are all familiar to the fans of the London-based brand, and its Russian makeover suits them well. All five shapes will add that bohemian spirit of summer and warm up even the cold early spring. With a pair of jeans in the West End or a white flowy dress in West Hollywood, it doesn’t really matter.

The Malone Souliers x Natalia Vodianova collection is available from stylebop.com and shop.malonesouliers.com from £395 with 50% of the proceeds going to the Naked Heart Foundation.
