Dress Like Kingsman
“Kingsman: The Secret Service”, a Bond spoof starring Colin Firth and directed by Matthew Vaughn (“Kick-Ass,” “X-Men: First Class”), premiered last Wednesday night. Firth plays Harry Hart (code name: Galahad), a thoroughly British spy with an arsenal of fancy espionage gadgets and a dashing wardrobe to boot. The clothes from the film are now up for sale through a collaboration between Vaughn, the film’s costume designer, Arianna Phillips and the website Mr. Porter. Read more: The New York Times

Tom Ford for Gucci Rumours Continue
Rumours of Tom Ford returning to Gucci continue to swirl, following Frida Giannini’s departure earlier this week. Ford defined an important era for Gucci, from 1994 to 2004, one that Giannini was not able to emulate during her tenure. With his eponymous label worth nearly a billion pounds, the self-described physical and emotional toll he experienced while at Gucci and his newfound focus on family life, it would be surprising for Ford to return to the label that made him famous. New York Times Will Launch Men’s Style Section
The New York Times plans to launch a men’s Style section, set to debut on Friday, April 3. The section will take the form of a 12-14 page print section, only running the first Friday of every month. With the changing conversation of the men’s fashion industry in general and the fact that over half of Styles editor, Stuart Emmrich’s, readers are men, it seems like a smart move. Banana Republic’s First NYFW
Banana Republic will be showing their Autumn/Winter 2015 collection during New York Fashion Week for the first time on Saturday, February 14. Marissa Webb, formerly the head of J.Crew's women’s wear division, was anointed creative director of the brand last April, and will be staging a presentation for both the men’s and women’s collections.
