Victoria’s Secret 2014
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – all those bras, the bling, the wings – took place last night in London at Earls Court Exhibition Center. The British Fashion Awards awarded the Canadian-born British-Turkish designer Erdem Moralioglu with the womenswear designer of the year at London’s Coliseum, beating off the likes of Christopher Kane and J.W. Anderson. One notable notable fashion moment came in the form of a tribute to Central Saint Martins professor Louise Wilson. Models, wearing creations by her proteges like Kane, strutted down the runway, while a list of iconic acerbic Wilson quotes were read by Samuel L Jackson (a strangely unexpected, yet fitting choice?). Read more: The Guardian
