As Fashion week draws ever nearer, one woman is on the lips of every Londoner. She has been a style icon ever since her 1928 debut and has inspired generationafter generation of girls to adopt polka dots, bows and over-sized shoes that falloff when you're running away from an escaped gorilla or a drunken pirate. Notmany 84 year olds can still pull that off. It is, the always illustrious, Miss MinnieMouse.
eBay and the British Fashion Council have teamed up their initiative to supportyoung British fashion talent with Walt Disney and asked a who's who ofupcoming designers to create their own "Minnie Must Haves". Giles Deacon,Richard Nicoll, Lulu Guinness, Tatty Devine and Michael van der Ham are just afew of the names who will be showcasing their garments and accessories at LFWbefore they are auctioned off online with all proceeds going to charity. Expectplenty of front row mouse ears to be blocking your catwalk views.
