21-year-old Lynette's take on structured grunge is well worth taking note of. Because: Who are your favourite designers and why?
Lynette: The classics like Chanel, she was a genius. She redefined
femininity and proved women could do whatever they wanted. Gaultier
took Chanel's obsession with masculinity/femininity to the next
level and mixed it with his wit. And McQueen turned the macabre
into the beautiful and mixed it with mind bending technique.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I'm unsure at the moment, but I'm certain it will be somewhere in
fashion PR or fashion journalism.
What's your favourite place? In London and elsewhere?
A quiet little pizza place that not many people know about, it's
on the corner of Columbia Road. Makes great pizzas.
Favourite thing about winter?
Wearing my boyfriend's clothes and getting away with it.
Who is your style icon?
Probably Mary-Kate Olsen. She has an innate sense of
style that follows no rules. Her personal style surpasses
fashion.
