Mother of four, ex-Spice Girl, author, fragrance mogul and fashion designer Victoria Beckham is starting the year with a bang. In style, no less.
Following the critically-acclaimed Victoria Beckham line, Victoria, Victoria Beckham, a range of quirky and playful dresses, is being exclusively launched at London's Harvey Nichols. To celebrate, the Knightsbridge department store have dedicated their entire Sloane Street windows to create a setting in which cartoon character Emily The Strange, the prime inspiration, would feel right at home.
After admiring the frocks adorning the windows, head over to the first floor to check out the yet-to-be-completed in-store installation showcasing the entire collection. But such an event doesn't go by without some multimedia touch: featured in both the windows as well as the installation is a ten-minute video created by filmmaker/illustrator/animator/model Quentin Jones. The short movie perfectly reflects the dresses' girliness with a special appearance by Mrs. Beckham herself.
Be the first to choose from the colour-blocking pretty little things: apple greens, vibrant reds, blue and pink pastels, crescent moon patterns and the soon-to-be-iconic 'Victoria Cat' print.
