ALICE by Temperley Talent
Just in time for pre-autumn/winter 2012, the Temperley House is launching "ALICE by Temperley, Talent" - a creative and original project that celebrates young and emerging personalities within the art, music or film industry. The project invites rising stars to merge their talent with fashion in a short film.
The first if the series has been created to tie in with ALICE by Temperley's pre-autumn/winter 2012 collection. The film features the young Isabel, an unsigned singer/songwriter who caught Alice's attention at the Glastonburry Cider Bus last summer. Isabel performs her song called "Kiss Me Madder" performed by.
"I am always on the lookout for new talent and love being inspired by unique skills and meeting artisans with passion for their craft," the designer says, "ALICE by Temperley is our contemporary line whose muses are iconic artists in the history of film, music or art. It was appropriate to dedicate space and time to promote emerging talent through the platforms and audiences we have available to us, supporting the future icons."
Beautifully shot in east London's bohemian district and in the Somerset countryside, Isabel's first music video is co-directed by Matilda and Henry Temperley. Isabel wears the new collection inspired by Brigitte Bardot. Tailored tuxedo suits are presented along with floral and lace dresses embodying a very vintage and romantic feel.
The House of Temperley are two steps ahead as they put into place an original scouting service. Their London and Los Angeles stores will offer exhibition space for local and up and coming artist to display their work and possibly become ALICE by Temperley's next Talent.
