Equipment was formed by Christian Restoin who reworked the men's shirt for women in 1975. With old holloywood stars in masculine tailoring as his muse Restoin's work was snapped up. Now Serge Azria of Current/Elliot takes the label forward, relaunched the brand in 2010 with a collection of androgynous styles staying true to the label's heritage but keeping it fresh for a new generation to discover.
