Stella, kicking off our ultimate people watching season, brings a dose of playful innovation mixing her Christopher Kane skirt with high street pieces and a gutsy bowl cut.

Because: What inspired your outfit today?

Stella: I love Christopher Kane, so I got this skirt in the sample sale, I just couldn't resist. I like to be unique and a bit different, and I just love feathers.

Where are you from?

I lived in Germany until I was 12 and then moved over here, that's why my accent is a bit mixed!

Where's your favorite place in London?

Topshop in Oxford Circus! I spend way too much time there because it's close to my uni, where I study history.

What do you want to do when you finish studying?

I want to do styling or PR, so I'm interning to find out what I really like.

People bash on about the secret ingredient to great style being confidence. Well here's one lady who proves the theory to be true.

The Sinead O'Connor close shave ice cool blonde certainly takes one healthy dose of it. Spotted on the streets of London, Betsy, threw on an oversized multicoloured knit with her skinhead and giant red glasses.

Betsy: One of my guiltiest pleasures has to be dedicating a whole day watching films online and munching out.

Do you have a style icon?

I reckon my style icon is based on my personality. I buy what I like and somehow put it together depending on how i feel or Animals inspire me.

If you were invisible for the day what would you do?

One day isn't long enough, but i guess i'd lie on a tiger, get up to some mischief like stealing stuff from shops and tripping up people and probably wonder around the queens house.

One thing you want to do before you die?

Sky diving! Have to do that before I die.

What was the last thing you bought?

Last thing I bought was a coffee.
