Look who we spotted on the streets of Paris at Men's fashion week, Swedish blogger Caroline from Carolines Mode. Caroline spends her time scouring cities for snappy dressers and fashionable crowds and she's also forged a reputation for being rather chic herself.

And when we bumped into her in Paris it's pretty easy to see why. Not one to let a little airport drama get in her way she's managed to make dressing look easy peasy despite losing her luggage!

We found out a little more about her fashionable life...

 

Because: Who is your style icon?

Caroline: Probably Rosie Huntington Whitley and Kate Moss. They can wear the most simple things and it's still inspiring or the most outrageous and it still works!

 

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Handbags!

What are you doing at the moment?

I'm in charge of my fashion site, Carolines Mode

 

Whats your greatest fear?

Losing my luggage when traveling - which also just happened. The airline still haven't found it... Gah!

Whats your worst habit?

I probably shop too much.

If you could change one thing about yourself and why what would you change?

At the moment I'd need to disconnect from Internet and stay offline for a few weeks to stress down.

We love that Taiana dresses like no one else we've seen outside Men's fashion week in Paris. Her look doesn't feel trend lead or overly thought out, but more like someone who could have just returned from the depths of a rainforest or deep in the mountains with a confidence to the way she throws things together. There's a real creativity to the way she pairs her Rick Owens dress and jacket with a bag picked up from Ethiopia and scarfs from her own label.

Because: Who is your biggest inspiration?

Taiana: My boyfriend, he is a jewelery designer (Abraxas Rex), he is the most creative creature on the planet.

 

Where is your favorite place to go?

Back Home in Santa Barbara.

What's the most important lesson you have learnt in life so far?

That something comes from everything.

How would you describe your company?

Completely hand made, organically evolving, revival of craftsmanship.

Whats the worst thing anyones ever said to you?

When i was 15 and on a photoshoot, my employer told me to look into getting Botox early before its to late!

There doesn't seem to be much about Zoe's outfit that could distract us from her shock of red hair. Her cartoonish colour stands out in the normality of the city streets and simple colours of black white and blue. That was until she turns around and shows off the vibrant psychedelia of her denim jacket.

 

And the best bit is, this 23 year old made it herself. Zoe is a designer who is busy creating her jackets for Topshop and Rihanna (perhaps she inspired the hair?).

Zoe: What I design is all about giving denim a new lease of colourful life.

 

 

Who would you most like to see in one of your jackets?

I would love to see Jack White and Alison Mosshart in one of my creations.

 

Who's the latest person you've made a jacket for?

I've just finished making a jacket for Rihanna. I've also just designed a diffusion range for Topshop concessions in Oxford Circus which should be going in this June...hopefully.

 

What's your ideal day?

Going to Hampstead Heath with friends, eating and drinking and then hunting in charity shops.

 

If you could have another talent what would it be?

To be able to speak every language.

 

What/Who is your biggest inspiration?

Music and the 60s and 70s poster art.
