COLOUR POP WITH ALESSANDRA RICH AND PRADA
Sonia loves this… because this is a look that's all luxury and lightheartedness bringing bold colour shots and electric pattern into our wardrobes. The yellow fur that stole the Prada catwalk and our hearts shows a fashion house with a sense of humour and tongue firmly in cheek. The dip dye neon green lace and silk blend dress by Alessandra Rich is a total show stopper that turns black tie dressing on it's head. Teamed with the Trussadi shoes and Lanvin bag our girl is ready to hit an exotic party somewhere in South America…or Shoreditch.
Alessandra Rich's dress from the SS 11 collection perfectly compliments the fur and adds an edgy sophistication with the mix of lace, vibrant two tones and silk. And the colour pop of Prada fur is already becoming one of the most sought after items of the season, with Mary-Kate Olsen, Anna Dello Russo (obviously) and Rihanna all sporting one. The Prada collection drew influences from South America, Calypso prints, bananas and Baroque and has already scooped no less than 48 magazine covers (Prada set a blogger straight who counted only 5).
Miuccia Prada summed up the rush for bright hues this spring herself at the end of her show "It's time to be bold". We couldn't agree more.
