This dress may be Barbie pink, but the attitude is anything but -Nicolas Ghesquière's army of Balenciaga babes present a grunge-chic edge this season; pretty-meets-punk in the form of streamline dresses, graphic punches and a juxtaposed range of sequins, plastic and leather. They pull from the brand's iconic shapes of the 1980s, rejuvenated by a contemporary fresh bolt of print and colour. And for the first time, creeper-esq flat shoes debuted the catwalk, signaling that things were definitely changing in Balenciaga towers.

However, our model wears a pair of show-stopping Manolo Blahnik pink floral knee-high boots for that ultimate 60s touch, and a Lady Dior tweed blue and pink bag. Finish the look with Bex Rox Memory stick necklaces and your ready to dance until dawn.

But don't think old glamorous Hollywood; this is the garish bright lights of LA or XFactor from the fashion world. The silver cropped jacket is emblazoned with gold and black trimmed stars reminiscent of the Walk of Fame with the inspiration felt further thanks to the Elvis exaggerated collar.

Teamed with the jacket is the graphic black and white heart print dress in feminine silk that plays against the sharp shapes, boxy proportions of the crisp metallic leather. Topped off with a bright injection of acid green from the Miu Miu shoes the impact of the outfit is undeniable. This is a look that's bound to get you noticed and who knows, maybe one day stepping out of that lift into the waiting crowds, flashbulbs popping, camera's clicking and everyone screaming your name.
