We Love
ADDICTED TO LBD
Chloe Loves this… Because this Marios Schwab dress is the ultimate example of a perfect LBD. Desperately easy to wear, this sleek black dress is ideal for the cooler months as it's long sheer black sleeves, keep in the warmth while remaining chic. The zip detailing at the front insures the piece is particularly figure fitting while the patent leather panels attached to each arm provides just the right amount of detailing to an otherwise simple silhouette. It's low square neck and short length further transforms the demure garment into a failsafe key wardrobe piece that can always be relied on for a sharp evening look.
The little black dress or iconic LBD as it is known is thought to have stemmed from the early designs of Coco Chanel in the 1920's. Her simple black dresses were always effortlessly wearable and were able to transcend season due to their timeless cut and impeccable use of quality materials.
After studying at the Esmod Fashion school in Berlin and receiving a distinction Marios Schwab moved to England in 2003 to pursue his fashion career and obtain his masters degree at Central St Martins. Shortly after his graduation in 2005 he launched his first collection with Fashion East showing following alongside the career path of numerous young successful designers such as Meadham Kirchoff and Lucy Hutchings. After two short years Schwab was ready to stand-alone and was given the chance produce his own on schedule collection at London Fashion Week. Since then his collections have been extremely well received by the fashion community, winning awards such as Best New Designer at The British Fashion Awards and the Swiss Textile Award.
