    TEMPERLEY LONG DRESS

Pandora loves this… because the classiest tattoos come appliquéd onto floor length tulle. Temperley's London swagger has offered up a rock'n'roll alternative for those who shudder at the very thought of the regulation floor-length satin that's so prolific at red carpet events. With the vintage chic of the white tulle and the gypsy aesthetic of the silk crepe de chine 'tattoo' design, this gem of Temperley's circus inspired collection crosses the bohemian glamour-puss divide with great aplomb.

Inspired by her London surroundings and her mother's favourite 1920s lampshades, which she used to cut up to make accessories, Alice launched Temperley in 2000. A full decade later we see the launch of her diffusion line, Alice by Temperley; a move which has allowed her the opportunity to fine tune her mainline collection to an even higher standard of cool luxury. Not only is this luxe Long Tattoo dress the perfect example of the high quality Alice now expects of her mainline collection, it also remains fully on-trend sporting this season's favourite print. Featured in Rodarte and more famously in Chanel's collection, tattoos have been given the fashion seal of approval. What better way to cement Temperley's London edge than to marry this seasons hottest micro-trend to the world of full-on cocktail glamour.

    RICK OWENS SILK DRESS

Pandora loves this… because Rick Owens has 'Lightened Up' and in doing so has struck the perfect balance between cool and pretty. This silk dress hangs perfectly, gathered at the front and subtly pleated, doing easy-chic the way only Rick Owens can. The discrete firework printed silk, in a relaxed palette of white and beige, is indicative of Owens spring/summer '10 collection. Demonstrating a branching out from his monochromatic vision but never a departure from his grunge/glamour design ethic.

Renowned for his beautiful waterfall leather jackets, which have gained an almost iconic status, Rick Owens has carved a niche for himself. Since he started his label in 1994 his recognisable aesthetic of angular cuts in a dark colour pallet has earned him a Perry Ellis Emerging Talent award and cult following. And for good reason; Owens skill for cutting an individual and distinct silhouette whilst achieving perfect wearability is what makes his designs a success. And as it turns out, Owens efforts at 'trying to approach pretty' for his spring collection have been to the collection's benefit. Using his dark, sharp aesthetic and applying it to a more romantic pallet means that his spring collection of transparent tops, long coats and angular or billowing dresses, transcend pretty and achieve sculptural beauty. Owens' affords the wearer the same transcendent advantages taking you from pretty to striking in just one dress.

    ALEXANDER WANG DRESS

Pandora loves this… because sexed up sportswear is the ultimate female revenge. Wang's varsity inspired collection has us cringing at the very idea of cheerleading. Suddenly quite the feminists, this dress has us demanding the ball be passed to us. The leather shoulder inserts on this sweatshirt dress, extend to an exaggerated cut of the arms. Compensating for the macho silhouette, Wang cuts a backward midriff and a high hem. Because we may be feminists but we're not afraid to show some skin. Just get me a pair of Louboutins, my Vuitton duffle bag and go long… I'm ready for touchdown.
