Isfarkand checks into the Mandarin Oriental
When it comes to luxury, details are key and the choice of toiletries provided in the best hotels is a well-considered decision. Very few of us can resist leaving a hotel room without swiping the miniature soaps and potions on offer in the bathrooms and they are often the sole souvenir of your hotel stay (unless you've stolen the bathrobes, which is not classy behaviour and something we would never do …)
The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London has
recently launched an exclusive line of products by the British
fragrance line Ormonde Jayne into their bathrooms. Guests to
the hotel will be able to experience the Isfarkand fragrance by
Ormonde Jayne from head to toe including an Isfarkand conditioner,
body lotion and soap which are exclusive to guests of the Mandarin
Oriental Hyde Park and not available for general purchase.
Isfarkand is a sparkling green lime citrus scent, rolled in peppery
spice which skips past vetiver through to a light woody finish
after a few hours. Miles above the usual functional fragrances of
toiletry products, the Isfarkand range gives another absolutely
necessary reason to book into a room at the Mandarin Oriental.
