Get the look - Proenza Schouler AW11
At Proenza Schouler AW11 show, the ponytail was born again - this time as a fullsome knot, unravelling into soft, razored ends. Superstylist, Paul Hanlon envisioned the hair of a Navajo meets all American girl. Here's how Paul got the look.

1. We added in 22-inch extensions around the crown of the head, paying special attention to any areas with shorter layers to achieve a long languid silhouette ready to pull back into this chic pony. But you can still allude to the look with mid-length and naturally long hair.
2. Start by parting the hair slightly off center and apply Frederic Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse to the front of the hair, forming a frame.
3. Next, apply Frederic Fekkai Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Crème and Fekkai Salon Technician Color Care Anti-Fade Top Coat to the hair, ironing the front pieces to seal in sleekness and shine.
4. Gather hair midway down the back and pull into a low ponytail and tie the end into a slight knot. To finish the look, spray Frederic Fekkai Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray and Frederic Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray; this will create a dry, rough texture for the back of the hair that makes the style feel relaxed.
