This Chanel Bronzer is Giving Skin Like You Just Got Back from the Med. Hydrating, non-comedogenic, and stupidly flattering—this is your new summer staple.

Let’s talk about that glow we all chase. You know the one—when the sun hits your face just right at golden hour, and suddenly you look like you’ve been kissed by light, blessed by radiance, and subtly retouched by a celestial being. I'm happy to share - not gatekeep - that Chanel Beauty has just bottled that magic.

The Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream from Chanel’s latest Golden Hour collection is the bronzer of the summer - and with five new shades, it improves its accessibility for more skin tones. Designed by Valentina Li and the CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio, this velvety balm-to-cream formula melts into the skin with zero effort. It’s buildable, blendable, and never streaky—just a soft, believable wash of warmth that gives you skin that looks lit from within (not painted on).

And it’s not just pretty—it's smart, too. The bronzing cream is infused with rosewood oil and jasmine flower extract, both known for their nourishing and soothing properties. Rosewood oil helps support skin regeneration and elasticity, while jasmine extract calms and conditions—exactly what you want for keeping skin balanced and radiant even in the summer heat. Plus, it’s non-comedogenic, which means it won’t clog your pores or cause breakouts, even if you’re layering it over SPF or wearing it all day.

I had been using a lot of the CHANEL VITALUMIÈRE AQUA Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup with SPF15 as a base, but I've graduated to adding in light taps of the Les Beiges Water-Fresh tint in light deep. The bottle looks like it contains seed granules, and perhaps if i were more technical I'd brush it onto my skin, but I find that warming it up on my palms and just patting it into my face gives the most natural of sunkissed tints

There's a whole suite of new shades and products for this summer collection - from eyes, to nails to lips. But the bronzing cream? That’s the hero. Dab it on with fingers or swirl it in with a brush—either way, it gives you that post-holiday glow, no boarding pass required.

The team have also updated its surface, now coming with an interlocking CC instead of the swirl I dipped into years ago to make it a favourite in my summer makeup wardrobe. It blends like a dream, adds instant warmth, and makes your skin look expensive. Wear it solo with a slick of lipstick or combine it with a dewy highlighter—your call. This is a beauty product that is an ode to fleeting magic—those moments at dawn and dusk when everything feels possible.
