Scott Wilson has to have one of the most impressive jewellery CVs on record. Over the years he's collaborated with the likes of Hussein Chalayan, Givenchy and Thierry Mugler, and his work has appeared on the coolest catwalks and in the world's top glossies.
So it's with glad hearts and open purses that we greet the news that Wilson's latest collaboration with fashion brand Aqua gives us the opportunity to snap up his work without breaking the bank.
Comprising earrings, a ring, a cuff, a necklace and even a belt, the Scott Wilson for Aqua S/S12 capsule collection riffs on Wilson's Modernist aesthetic such that each piece is a delicious confection of faceted resin in nude, pistachio and white combined with polished and textured gold metal.
Inspired by New York's 1980s club scene when glamazons Jerry Hall, Bianca Jagger and Grace Jones ruled the roost and, as Wilson puts it, "really knew how to wear their jewellery," these sexy, sassy pieces are guaranteed to look good on the dancefloor. And anywhere else for that matter.
