has been living on the wild side since he was born in Zimbabwe in a
snake farm. His love for anything exotic and conceptual seems to be
built-in his DNA. So when it comes to designing original shoes with
an elegant flair, London-based and emerging footwear designer Liam
Fahy is the man for the job.
In a very limited edition
collection, a favourite pick is an open-toe wedge bootie with a
refined white leather laser-cut motif, which will compliment any
romantic or bold flower print ensembles. As seen all over the
catwalks next season at Prada, Celine and Prabal Gurung among
others florals are very on-trend as well as pastel-coloured palette
and clean silhouettes.
There's nothing better than a
statement shoe like this one to make an impression at a summer
soirée. Born and educated in Africa all his life, Liam Fahy
travelled to England to pursue the renowned Footwear Design course
of De Montfort University, which he graduated from in 2006. He
launched his eponymous label in 2010 and has worked alongside some
of the biggest names in the shoe industry with Rupert Sanderson
championing the young designer.
