Michael Acton-Smith and I met on Twitter. The eccentrically cool founder of the hugely successful kid's company Moshi Monsters, happily entered an @ chat with me about management at which point I decided to log on and see what this Moshi business was all about.
Lo and Behold my 12-year-old Neopet gaming days had been re-born into a wondrous land of virtual pets that one can actually own. What's more, whilst it's witty and silly, it's also full of parodies that adults have fun picking up on.
So as SATC's Carrie might say: 'I got to thinking' … about charms; more specifically Moshi Charms. I mean, who wouldn't want a silver 3D Hansel (as a too-good-to-eat gingerbread man) or a dopey eyed panda or even an awkward donut charm swinging from a bracelet!
And so, with much midnight oil burned, I'm excited to have recently unveiled My Flash Trash's debut Moshi Monsters jewellery line! On which note, I'll sign off by saying 'go forth my friends and release your inner 7-year-old'. And failing that, invest in an eclectic charm or three and earn some cred with your kids!
