This German shoe designer of Turkish descent has grafted for the likes of Givenchy and Giambattista Valli. Inspired by architecture, sculpture it would be too easy to say that his shoes have that architectural quality to them, but that's exactly what comes through in his strong second season and promising start to his own label.

When it comes to injecting pattern and colour into our wardrobes it's usually our clothes that take the full hit of colour, texture and vibrant print but Pierre Hardy has us looking to our feet to bring the drama. Avoiding the safety of black or block colour, these ankle strap wedges with their deep blue and candy peach remind us of beach huts in summer and rock hard candy and sherbet dips.
