Georgie loves these… because while the rest of the Louis Vuitton show was a backlash against minimalism with sequins, fringing, slashed to the thigh satin dresses and slick polished black runway these shoes from the S/S 11 collection were a beautiful moment of simplicity in all that decadence.

Georgie loves these… because before seeing the heel this is one very pretty sandal with delicate rope like straps entwining the foot, but that twisting, curling, melting spike adds a dose of unexpected and exciting drama to Dior's creation.

The polished black tangle is beautifully sculptural against the simplicity of the bright red. Dior have taken a shoe and turned it not only into a statement for the season but a piece of art in it's own right. And we love it. Price on  application.

Georgie loves these… because Charlotte Olympia has nailed the perfect green sandal for summer - just beware of the tan lines. The suede green bouncing off the bronze stacked heel with red treads is a welcome flash of colour but Charlotte's appeal lies in being able to subtly reference past glamour and bring a femme fatale quality to her design. Just take a look at the lady herself - all pristine coifed hair, neatly perched hats and bright painted lips nodding to the 50s but never looking like she raided the fancy dress box.
