    CHANNEL CHANEL

Sonia loves this... because there's nothing like a magpies hoard of gold and all the glitters to get us girls excited. Against the stark simplicity of a black shift dress the Bex Rox chunky chain brings a dose of street chic balanced perfectly with the more opulent bright golds and diamonds of the Parisian designer Delphine Charlotte Parmentier's necklace.

Added to the assortment of jewels are black resin cuffs by Chanel covered in delicate butterflies and dragonflies and the beautifully simple Vionnet bracelet in muted gold. Strewn across the floor those glittering bags come in the shape of a mini bejewelled Chanel from the spring/summer 2011 collection and the not-to-be out shone Mulberry Lily bag covered in Swarovski crystals and rivets.

And as if that wasn't enough decadence for one day the Trussardi belt and Stephanie Simon Sunshine ring add another wave of glamour to this ensemble. There's something very Chanel-esq about lounging in such luxury in the hazy half light that recalls black and white images of Coco herself stacked with multiple string of pearls. Perhaps it's time to embrace the opulence and channel Chanel?

Noel Stewart's veiled hat for Louise Amstrup

Georgie loves this… because Darya is channelling the black widow within wearing this veiled black Panama hat by Noel Stewart for Louise Amstrup's spring/summer 11 collection. What's not to love about this eerie yet classic monochrome picture, perfect for any diva or drama queen: the hat, a fishtail maxi skirt by Rick Owens Lilies and to "top-it-off" some American Apparel for understated elegance. As a grand finale… two very sparkly bangles by Swarovski. Tempted? We are.

London-based Noel Stewart is one of a small selection of international milliners who have taken the best of a traditional upper class favourite and reworked it to become an integral part of contemporary fashion. His keen eye for construction, playful use of materials and appreciation for the dramatic effect of a great statement piece has gained him a loyal customer base and celebrity following. With a collection ranging from ready-to-wear to couture and many design collaborations under his belt, Noel has developed a strong signature style taking inspiration from architecture and contemporary art and adding some London grit to a British classic.

Before taking his Masters at the Royal College of Art, Noel was an apprentice at Dai Rees and at Stephen Jones for Christian Dior Couture. He made his mark when Barney's picked up his first collection in 2003 and is now available worldwide at a selection of stockists. Design collaborations include Roland Mouret, Marios Schwabb, Roksanda Ilincic, Erdem, Hussein Chalayan, Diesel, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Oscar De La Renta and of course Louise Amstrup. Kiera Knightly, Lilly Allen, Kylie Minogue and Beth Ditto are loyal fans of his work. Both Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue recognized his fervour for stage presence and commissioned him to create the hats worn in their world tours.

    HOCKLEY FUR TRIMMED SCARF

Georgie loves this… because nothing could keep you warmer in the colder months than this decadent fox trimmed scarf. Delicately crafted into a quirky spiral, and remarkably soft to the touch this luxury piece is the perfect winter addition. Easily teamed with any autumnal staple, the neutral grey fur and wool pallet makes it all the more wearable. A timeless investment, the sumptuous scarf will take you through every winter in failsafe style. The perfect gift for a loved one or a naughty treat for yourself this opulent accessory is sure to add some extravagance to anyone's wardrobe.

A firmly British institution, Hockley gained early recognition in the nineteen sixties and seventies by drawing an influential fashion crowd to its flagship London store. Legendary designers such as Ossie Clark and Zandra Rodes frequented the shop and celebrated the brands luxury fur aesthetic. Still going strong, the brands focus remains firmly on producing the highest quality fur based garments.
