    BEX ROX KNOTT RING

Sonia loves this... because this Bex Rox gold plated ring is beautifully crafted with a double rope style band that slips effortlessly into a neat love knot. When worn as an eternity ring it elegantly symbolizes the constancy of two lovers. The perfect investment gift for any loved one that can be kept forever and held close to the heart. Alternatively when adorned just for fun it can pull together an outfit and add a touch of luxurious glamour to any ensemble. Known for her free spirited, youthful designs this Bex Rox ring will attract the right kind of attention.

Inspired by vintage jewellery Bex Manners launched her jewellery design company Bex Rox in 2006. Although originally from the Balearic Islands Bex based her company in London. Bex rose to fame with her innovative use of magnetic fastenings while her exciting uses of materials such as fossils and raw semi precious stones also helped her to gain recognition. Also a fan of art deco her pieces have a timeless feel to them that assures her clients her pieces can be treasured eternally.

    QUENTIN MACKAY HANDBAG

Georgie loves this… because, after a certain point, luxury design transcends fashion and becomes art. Quentin Mackay circumnavigates that point with expertise and finesse, crossing it successfully every time with his inimitable collection of high-luxury handbags. This Persia handbag, in the finest glazed Python leather, exemplifies the luxury we have forgotten how to strive for. Resting on the square bottom of a satchel but rounding at the opening in a classic, refined shape this top-handled bag is recognisably MacKay, adorned as it is by his signatory Ball & Claw. Fixing the straps to the body of the bag and dangling from the zippers, this emblematic gold symbol has become the perfect branding for this pure luxury brand; unique, indulgent and perfectly crafted all at once.

Craftsmanship is wholly important to MacKay, who takes pride in the fact that every stage of production is policed to an almost obsessive degree. His integrity, diligence and perfectionism is driven by an almost cynical look at the fashion industry today. MacKay looks back on the dress making of 19th century and bemoans that we have lost the attention to detail and the aspiration that made fashion, in its origins, so spectacular. The personal touch is gone and with it any hope for personal style. So in steps Quentin MacKay, with his perfectly formed bags, in perfectly sourced skins, treated to the highest level, embellished with gold plated Ball & Claw's and lined in the softest red calf's leather, each one individually numbered. With the hope that the wearers will be distinguished and identifiable as the last (or the new) bastions of fine-art fashion, fighting the fight for individual semi-bespoke luxury one beautiful bag at a time.

    MONICA VINADER MARIE DISC EARRINGS

Sonia loves this… because these droplet earrings, plated in 18 karat rose gold, breathe a contented sigh of long hot summers. Dreaming of white sand beneath our feet and a cool drink in our hands, the Arabic script evokes imaginings of the exotic travels from which designer Monica Vinader draws inspiration. When summer takes hold and days bleed into nights seamlessly, our daytime jewellery should hold out through the twilight hours and well into the black of night.

A native of Madrid, Vinader is now a Londoner longing for the countryside. First designing bespoke pieces for private clients in 2002, Monica has gained a reputation for luxurious, wearable jewellery, flooded with stones in the colours of the Mediterranean and Arabian textured golds. Now an award-winnning jeweller, her most characteristic pieces are no longer reserved for her private clientele. Although bespoke jewellery is a continuing feature of the Monica Vinader brand we can now all bask in the enjoyment of exotic, easy pieces like these gold coin earrings. Taking us inconspicuously from hot day to warm night, from Madrid to London, from city to countryside but always with a hint of the glamourous adventurer in our swagger.
